Pinky I can imagine that you are nervous, but you shouldn't be. What you are doing is fantastic and proves to show how great a friend you are. I'm sure when you get there things will fit into place and I'm positive that everyone over there will look after you well!



Oh one tip though, make sure you get something decent to eat before the flight, because the food onboard is ...well em.... rubbish.

If you are 'holding' a room, let them know (is there a 'special instruction' or 'comment' area on their page?) that you won't be arriving until later so that they will hold the room for you.

You will be fine, just make sure you give yourself plenty of time before you leave, and it may help just in case to know where your departures desk will be. I'm sure you can always check the airports home page and they will have a map showing you exactly where to go, and any other advice that they may have.

Do we know what kind of security checks they have after what happened a few weeks ago. I'm guessing things are still pretty tight, especially at Heathrow.

That's ok...I was just trying to help. You can use your ATM card, once you're here and get all the cash you need. Have you flown to the States before? What time do you leave/arrive? If you're going over the pole, it's very, VERY cool to watch the dawn/sunset. I hope it works for you, time-wise.
