I remember years ago when my husband I owned the largest toy store in San Diego, CA and we had a janitor who was stealing ton's of stuff and we found out that he had started a business which he called,

'Wing's of LOVE Christian Day School" AND he wore a T-shirt with that name on it.....and a photo on the shirt of an angel with HUGE wings! I think he later got arrested. We laughed so hard.

My personal preference is to support a local church of your persuasion. They are the ones who are there when you need them; births, marrianges, illness, personal problems, deaths.

The amazing thing to me about religion Capt, is that, you and I could sit down with a good bottle of "Scotch Whiskey" and in the course of the evening dream up, concoct or concieve a new religion and then go out and get some followers. That's spooky.

We could even convince some of the poor souls to part with their worldly possessions and donate them to our cause. Some folks are looking for vahalla, nirvana or what ever and it's right here, today, not mananna (tomorrow).

They did a study on people that fall for these so called redemption invitations and guess what. It's the people that can least afford it that end up donating to them. Usually undereducated.. elderly... lonely.. kinda like the demographic that televanglists target..

I am not an overly religious person but anyone that preys on the less fortunate should well.. hopefully when the wheel turns again it will crush their sorry little butts....

I used to think people like Charlie Manson, David Koresh, Jim Jones, etc. were geniuses. They could get people to follow them, kill for them, give up everything for them. I no longer feel they are geniuses. They prey on the easiest, most desperate victims. It's sad that people will no doubt donate their homes to this lady.

Years ago my husband and I , then in the broadcasting business, used to listen to Radio Stations in the deep South, Bible Belt........late at nite. Seems there are a few station's in the South with huge 50,000 watt broadband signals so we were able to get them here in California. They'd be preachin' and selling 'glow in the dark' statues of Christ.......on Velvet! If they had or didn't have an audience there I don't know, but I imagined the type of people who would be there dying to have what they were giving away. That's of course is the mentality of people who want something for nothing........

Someone once said, that the chance's of winning a National Lottery were the exactly the same whether you bought a ticket or not!!!!!!

This woman has now claimed that she was informed by the Holy Virgin of the Tsunami disaster two years ago. But Our Blessed Lady informed her not to tell anyone until She gave the word.
