i'm dreaming of a cop Christmas...the jingle of handcuffs, the delight of seeing familiar old felons anew, the festive sound of miranda rights being read, the joy on the faces of booking officers as they fingerprint carolers, the hustle and bustle of Christmas shoplifters, the excitement of first appearance when shackled elves are still in their cups, the daily lists of who has been naughty or nice, the falling snow...oops...is that white powder snow? nope . oh well... here is my request...my sheriff dept. has asked people to put up blue Christmas lights this year to honor the fallen officers who were murdered on the job this year. the best of the best killed on the job...Josh Blyler, age 21. told the rescue guys the moment before he died "it's ok, i go to a better place". Todd Fatta .age 33. murdered by a filthy child pornographer. if you have blue lights, put them up for your local police please. thankyou and HAPPY CHRISTMAS.

hi Paula..yes, i do my best not to get shot! especially by green recruits out on the firing range. and Carla is one fantastic lady. i've known her a while and love her. she has a real talent for decorative posts and she has an arsenal my SWAT team envies!

...... but please...tell my sheriff i require double pay, because otherwise it's a straight payday! LOL

Capt. Buzzard, thankyou! ((hug)), and Tombstone said he'll put up some blue lights for the coyotes! he lives in a beautiful part of America. ...i went out tonight and bought strings of red and blue outdoor lights, the cop car light bar colors, and have strung them around my porch...it looks pretty cool!

my neighbors won't know if i am greeting them or warning them! LOL ( i have had to arrest a few of them

My wife is a nurse so we know the holiday work schedule well. She can usually arrange to be off the day before the holiday, then since I'll be off and home alone on the holiday, she graciously "allows" me to clean up the mess. Is'nt she just too kind?

OOPS
Got confused, made a mistake,
Put red blinkies in the window.
Vice squad raided the place.
Now I got the blues,
Cops kept the lights.
