A duffel (duffle) coat.

Post by Bill Sikes »

I am trying to locate a traditional (but comfortable) duffel coat for a Young Boy

aged 5-6. Can I find one? Can I 'eck as like, as they're fond of saying.

Just a duffel coat. Not a jacket, parka, coat or donkey jacket. A real duffel coat,

lined, with toggles, not flippin' buttons.

Any suggestions?

There's one. Try googling it.

"Suede effect". Humph. I have Googled like mad. The next stage is to order one

from abroad.

I've ordered several tons of coal, too, but I'm not burning it just yet.

Yes, I have. There's one that would do very well (the check patterned lining is a

the only detraction):

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1

And another one that's OK but too big:

LOL! You don't see much of the lining when you're wearing it! hehe

And that 'check pattern' is burberry my friend! Extremely posh and currently extremely trendy in the chav world too! ;) :D

Just a mite expensive for the little mite! (But Brand New!)

The second coat may be a little big, but for someone forward thinking enough to have a ton of coal that's ready to burn, believe me, he'll grow into it!

(And if its a bit long it'll keep his hands and bum warm too!) ;)
Holy sh*t, it's up to 50 pounds already! I'm too cheap to pay that much for a coat for myself and I've (pretty much) stopped growing.
