hello Paula...i am new here and it's no surprise i am interested in crimes and trials primarily ...but other subjects as well. i am wondering why it seems there aren't many people posting. it's hard to carry on a conversation alone. where is everyone?..several of my internet friends came here when i did, it seems to be a lovely site...could it be because it's the holiday season and people too busy?

It's very much like Usenet, to which my access is currently borken. It has the advantage of being a little less "noisy", however - and the disadvantage of being much smaller. I can't remember how I came across it now.

I like the people. :)

The conversation ranges from intense to just for fun, so I can find something interesting no matter what kind of mood I am in. I like to find new food for thought.

I like coming here because it is a lot less stressful than another site I visit, I believe that is because the users are older and the worst insults are comparing people to plants (have to say that makes me laugh) :wah:

I"m amazed at how many people can get their feelings hurt or there nose outta joint from ANYONE'S postings. For the most part, the majority seem to prefer some measure of anonymity. We don't know what they do for a living or their educational backround, and it's pretty hard to even discern their personality by their postings. Some folks like to put us on. Some like to try and rattle our cage. Some are overly polite. Some are very spiritual. Some are antagonistic. Some are very kind. Many will lie. A few are truthful. All are interesting for the most part.

To the point where one just insults me all the time because I refuse to flirt :-5

I for one am being helped tremendously by this Forum to transition from my every day "work life" to my soon to be "retired life". Currently, for the past week and a half I have been on sick leave. (So I have been reading and posting a lot more than usual. I am scheduled to return to work 12/13/04. so posting will slow down) I will be officially retiring the end of January 05. Then mid February I wll be going to Florida for the rest of the cold months. I just bought one of those Dell computers (on fantastic sale, on line) and had it shipped to my Florida address. I bought it Mainly so I can continue to participate in this terriffic "Forum Garden chit-chat" arena for the months I'm in Florida. :-6

This Forum Garden bunch are great people!!! :)

that is truly a (turn off) when some-one tries that...to respond to some-one is one thing, it doesn't mean you want anything else? i don't like being crowded. no. :-2 the responses here on behalf of men, well., i feel more a man than them...exclude a few older ones. hahahahaha :wah:

you commented some-one wanted to FLIRT with you, only you would know if they were POLITE about it? The forum appears to have a virus. Private message and chat brings scandal, attention is not focused to threads. The is not a personal forum therefore you can't take any thing personal, then the object is how much power some-one has by complaining because they are unable to move on? :-3
