"Eternal Father, Strong to Save" will reduce me to a puddle every time. They played it at my father's funeral.
Hallmark commercials do it to me, too!
Do you find you're more easily emotional as you get older? I sure do! Show me a parade with a high school marching band and I'm going to embarass myself!
Since 9/11, can any of us see a fire engine, racing to save lives with a flag flying behind it and not feel that CHOKE?

As you say, Lulu, a lot of things make me cry as I've got older (nearly wrote "get" and then realised I'm here!)
Loads of music more recently including Elgar's Nimrod, Vaughan Williams' Greensleeves and Roberta Flack's The first Time Ever I Saw Your Face.
The Last Night of the Proms and the Festival of Remembrance
Saying goodbye to someone at a railway station (definitely guaranteed)
Seeing people really disappointed because their hopes and dreams have been dashed
Seeing human kindness in action

There's an advert here on the TV for the NSPCC (National society for the prevention of cruelty to Children). It makes me cry every time (even though the kids are actors).

Weddings and funerals do it to me every time. I swear I could go see a complete stranger in either situation and cry my eyes out.
The national anthem and God Bless the USA do it to me too.
The one thing I really hate is if I'm to the point of exploding because I'm so mad, I cry. Hubby knows if I'm mad and the tears start, someone is about to get told off in a not too quiet voice.

You know what used to always get me when i was a little girl?
The Hulk, you know at the end of every show when they played "Love Story" and the big guy was walking off by himself? That used to upset me so much. :-3

Me too all of the above. As well my kids make me cry some times for now reason I get all sappy and think of things in the past, about my kids and cry.... gosh some days it's just a mood and I almost go looking for a reason to cry. Good byes make me cry.
I also can cry in a happy situation, gifts given to me from the heart make me cry.... gosh then I do look silly.
Last birthday and mothers day (so close together) and my eldest scraped together a few bucks and bought me a green ceramic frog for the occasion and it had no significance what so ever I don't collect them or anything but it was the plain old fact that this kid who has no extra money went out and got this for me. Gosh even as I type this I get teary. I love my frog and some days just touch it to remind me how much I love my kid. Ok gotta go get tissues now.... I am feeling the tears.

Minks, I'm crying because you're crying and I love that frog too. Because my daughter collects frogs and it reminds me of when my 3 girls were little and they brought a frog home with them on the train...oh wait a minute...that was a toad and he hopped all over the basement and slimed everything.

I bawled like a baby in Heathrow airport when I had to say goodbye to Raven. Oh we had tears steaming down our faces.
I darn well cried when I went to pick up the ex's dog from doggie jail because when they took me into the section of jail he was in I came through a set of glass doors and I could see the cage he was in, his back to me and he was just a quivering as there was awful loud barking all around him. I knelt down to touch him and when I saw in his eyes he recognized me I bloody cried.
Just a half hour before that while sitting with the police officer I cried in anger when she told me "because I came to take responsiblilty for the dog" she had to charge me $300 before he could be released.
Guess I cry easily

I'd cry too over $300 for someone else's dog. But I'd pay it to get him out of doggie jail. I'm a sucker for a sad face. It's a wonder I don't have 20 dogs and cats at my house. I am always falling in love with one at work.:yh_sigh

I cried when i saw my first grandchild
I cried when my son got married, or rather at the reception when he was giving his speech.
I sometimes cry at happy endings to films.
I cried on News years eve because i was lonely ( I think it was the drink what dunnit !)
I sometimes feel like crying when I read some of the stuff that people are having to put up with in thier lives here and at work.
I cry when I see my brother and REALLY cry when I have to say good bye to him...I adore him.
Blimey....I didn't realise what a cry baby I am :-1
Oh yes....and I feel like crying if people are really nice to me

I guess I don't think i deserve it..

It's hard sometimes, heartbreaking really. We see the worst of the worst. But when you get to save a life it makes everything worthwhile.
We did a c section an a cat the other night, we saved all six kittens and the mother. That brings a tear too.

Nah,

I would probably yell in agony, incrimental with the amount of force obviously, and a tear may trickle from the likes of my cheek from nerve, but to cry in my opinion is nothing shy of spiritual.

This is an interesting thread. When I said I didn't cry, earlier on, that was mainly true. I've thought about it more. I don't cry when I'm injured. I don't cry when I'm blue. I don't cry when the cosmic smite key kicks me in the face. I really regret that I don't cry in these circumstances. Tears really help. It's a big release and tears contain natural tranquillising substances. The idea of crying yourself to sleep is a sign of this effect. I have been known to get wet eyed in schmaltzy movies, or at those awful saccharine inspirational stories of the day emails. I have even experienced a bit of ocular dampness in the presence of great beauty. Go figger.

Any movie where a bawling kid has to say the final goodbye to his/her dying mother. A moment of special communion with God.
