About six months or so ago, Myself and Carrie-Anne were running about like mad things around the house and shouting at each other because I couldn't find my house keys and I thought she had moved them (Sorry darling). This had been going on for about twenty minutes or so and was really getting heated, when there came a knock at the door:

"Hello!!, I was wondering if you would like to chat about the recent bad events in the world and how Jehova can help."

I just couldn't help it:

"WILL HE HELP ME FIND MY KEYS??"

Pensioner Janet Grove, who owns a jack russell terrier puppy called Rabbit, insisted the sign was a gentle joke to discourage callers.

Her late husband put the sign up more than 30 years ago when members of the church called at their house on Christmas Day.

But police were forced to act after receiving a complaint.

"We were informed by a member of the public who found the sign to be distressing, offensive and inappropriate," a police spokesman said.
Another religious fanatic that gets to say what people may or may not have on their own gate on their own property? I hope the lady puts 50 more signs like it all over town.:-5

Personally, I have no issue with the Witnesses...have a co-worker who is one, but she is not in your face with her beliefes, so long as we respect them.

I just have issue when them, or the Mormons come to the door to preach.

This reminds me of a TV program called "Becker". It's about a grouchy old Doctor. He's always complaining about something/everything.

Well, at the end of one episode, Becker is home in his apartment. There is a knock at the door, so he goes & opens the door. Out side are two "Witnesses" starting their pitch about being saved & going to heaven. And Becker says to them, well will you be there, & they say yes we hope to be. So then Becker just slams the door in their faces. :p :rolleyes:

PS: Political Correctness is now so out of hand, it's complete BS!
