Bee warning

I had to take one of my dog's to the Vet today. Lastnight I noticed that she was foaming a clear slobber out of her mouth and that she was just not herself. Her tongue is VERY swollen and she's sick.
The Vet told me that she had a temp. and it was a bee sting. I've seen my dog nip at bees and flies, but I never imagined that one could sting her tongue. I've got her on antibiotics and some pain meds.
Now how to go about stopping a dog from nipping at flying creatures is beyond me. But I thought I'd let you all know that this could happen. So please watch your animals closely when bees are around them.
