This is one of his favourite spots in next door's front garden.

He also likes to lie smack bang in the middle of the drive. This is not a good idea because he is as deaf as a doorpost. Hence he doesn't have a name. But I call him Snowy.

We have to check out where he is before we ever drive our cars down or up the drives.

He's loverly.

He's a sensible cat. Hides everywhere. The shot on the drive was taken mid-evening. The sun was well low by then and the building was shading him. The hedge in the afternoon.

This is why we have to look out for him. He often sleeps under our cars. He can't hear a sound and has a meow worse than an air raid siren.:-6

Oh, he is a pretty kitty!:-4

He is a cat, and since cats own everything since the beginning of time-the driveway is his!:wah:

Morning, Chonsi. How are ya.

Yep. He owns the driveway. When I'm coming out, I have to stop the car, get out and try to get his attention without startling him. If he does see us driving down, he gets out of the way of his own accord - eeevvver so slooowwwly.:D

With this one, doubly so. Because of his deafness, he is very timid and he startles easily as anyone would I guess under those circumstances. It took time to get his confidence.:)

It's great, Cher. When I come home from work and park up the drive, he comes up to see me. Not too close at first. I have to haunch down and extend my hand, then he comes across.

In the winter, I know he's just waiting to lie on my bonnet for the warmth. :D
