I like the whole layout, myself. Search function is very good, and the
froggies are way cool.
Also, being able to see the first bit of a thread before you even click
on it is just outstanding!!

Before FG, apart from 2 who live in Spain, ALL my friends lived in England. Now I feel that I have mates all over the world, and some more in the UK, from really diverse backgrounds. The world is not without its problems but there are good people the world over, and a lot of them are in here :-6

Despite not having read this thread, I will nevertheless contribute. It has occurred to me that we Gardeners have become far more well-mannered and respectful of one another. While we still take offense at things said, and we still remain passionate and open about our beliefs as a rule, personal name-calling has become as rare as hillbilly teeth (no offense to hillbillies), and does not go unchallenged anymore.
Our one holdout to the old-school ways is Bronwen. Here's hoping she lurks ... and listens.
