Hmmmmmmmmm Interesting topic
well okay.... usually I pick either plain white, or sometimes I pick a blue or cream, but usually white, and it has to be decent stuff, none of this falling apart in your hand business :-2
I remember when I used to go to school and they used to have toilet paper that was like tissue paper, it was rough and horrible and the only thing it was good for was using as tracing paper.... :wah:
Awwwww, Those were the days...

I always worry that the colored roll might be scented as well, and that the perfume (or whatever) might burn. Since pale green is usually associated with mint ......

....... I think I'd hold it, thankyouverymuch!

Toilet paper.
One of my 'things'.
I only buy white, two-ply, double roll. The double roll is the key here. They last forever!
An old boyfriend of mine said it sounded like "Wheel of Fortune" when I was in the bathroom because I really spun the roll around, using so much toilet paper!

Whoa! We must have the same Mother!! My Mum used to stand outside and tell me I only needed two sheets per wipe, when I said no way I'll get wet fingers she told me to be sure I washed my hands then!

Do I detect a new fun phrase about to take off in the USA.
I have to have white quality, usually Andrews. Any other colour and I have to look harder to see if it's ok to stop wiping.

I haven't a clue as to its origins, but it's kinda appropriate.
It was kind of amusing to see the question asked from America.

I'm still traumatised by having to use Izal paper at my grandads when I was a kid. It was like tracing paper and wasn't for the faint-hearted.
It was fairly standard to hang squares of newspaper on a piece of string. A guy I worked with told me that the first time he engaged in oral sex, he was shocked to discover that the Conservatives had suffered badly in a local election.
Of course, the newspaper was only for the riff-raff and when Auntie Mabel came round, out came the neatly flattened orange wrappers.
