I did volunteer work for a shelter in Idaho many years ago. I have very little faith in the human race after seeing some of the horrible things that people do to their "pets".

This sort of thing always makes my stomach churn. I can never understand how unfeeling some people are, and puppies are always so adorable.

I'm so glad your husband decided to save the puppies rather than go after the truck. If he got the guy's licence plate, too, that would be a bonus. Payback for the puppies and whatever other animals the guy may have.

Inform the cops. That may be enough to go on. Especially if a news story could be done. You may catch the person and find people who would give the pups a good home (even though I think they found one LOL) both at the same time.

It seems like so many people who hate animals always have them - I just don't get it. They think torture is fun or what? Sickos! Maybe someone wrap them up in a bag and toss them into a canal and then ask them how they like it!

Sounds like a wonderful man you have there. He did a good job! We need more people like that in this world!

It is a terrible thing when people treat helpless animals that way.I remember when I was young I risked a beating from two older guys to save two cats. They had tied them together by the tail and threw them over the clothes line. I ran up to the cats and cut them loose and ran like hell. Good thing I was a fast little feller.

Contact your local paper, see if they will do a story on the abandoned puppies and how your husband saved them . If the paper did do a feature it may promt more people into offering them both a good home .

A fine person your hubby is,Some one too look up to sure,not all heros wear capes.Any hoo,the plate would have been good but chances are you have too "catch them in the act".But Justice will be served on those who wrong.

Maybe you can get the paper too run a story but it won't sell apers so maybe not.

But you have done a fine thing and are well on your way too get your wings.
