Let's create a forum where we can honor fellow Gardeners through the fine tradition of roasting.

I don't know if the term is international. A roast is normally a formal dinner with a head table. The honoree is seated next to the speakers lecturn and has to endure as speaker after speaker takes the pee out of him/her.

We can do a similar thing here for special occassions such as birthdays or just because we want to . Someone starts a thread for an individual and we can all post a roast.

This is sounding like deja-vu all over again. Didn't we just have this discussion a couple of weeks ago? Did you skip school that day??

its an idea that could get out of hand, accountable wants to start one off the board where folks can choose if they want to participate, p.m him & he'll catch you up on developments with it

Isn't there just something a tad bit creepy about roasting our fellow gardeners? What type of wine goes with roasted gardeners??

No, we never have. Rick would like to go on a winery tour some time, though.
