Actually, no, she does not. It is the nature of chinchillas, though. She will sometimes hop up onto my lap, or shoulder when she is out of her cage, but She will only stay a minute..and hop right off. If I go to touch her she runs.

I should add that if Rick or I are visiting with her at her cage, she will hop up onto the perch by the door, and loves to have her chin rubbed.

But if you sit down on the ground, will she come and sit with you, and play?

My bunnies do that, if I am at ground level, they are all over me.

Buster loves to be rubbed on his neck.

Trixie is really a doll!

She hops up onto my knee, or the arm of the chair. She likes the back of the chair too. But she is not like a cat or dog who is content just hanging. She would rather run and jump.

Since I do not have children, folks get to suffer through endless pictures of my furkid. Here are some more.

Your chinchilla is adorable. I think they are so cute, though I've never had the opportunity to cuddle one up close. I've just seen them in cages at pet stores. Very cute! I like "furkid"

She likes being high up. Check out these that I am attaching here. She is on top of the clothes bar in the closet...yes that is the ceiling above her head!!

And yes, she got up there on her own.
