I have a question for Tombstone or anastrophe, whichever of you can answer it for me:

When you put a person on your ignore list, as I have recently done, if that person tries to PM me, will it just go out like it normally does, or does it "bounce back" to them with some sort of message about "You can no longer contact this person" or some such thing? How does that work?

I also have a question related to the 'Ignore' function:-

Does the person you put on Ignore, know that you have done so ???

Apparently, due to a "feature" in the system, they are told you've put them onto your best friends list.

When this is changed they'll be told the truth :wah:

The person I have put on ignore will not be confused at all and will, without a doubt, KNOW that this is a glitch in the system. I have no doubt of that at all.

Got an idea: Let's test it. Someone put me on ignore. I will then try to send you a PM and see what happens. Volunteers?

How do you un-ignore someone afterwards - I'd hate for it to be permanent

Same way you put them on ignore. In the profile it will say "Remove member from ignore list."

Yes, when your message came up it gave me the option of taking you off my ignore list. As soon as I said yes it was back to normal

Did you get a bounce message at all?

When you've been ignored does the name come up with a - in the same way as a buddy comes up with a +?

Is there a list of people who've put me on ignore to go with the ignore list?

Do I have to remember everybody who doesn't like me?

I got nothing. It went out just like any other PM. I don't see any sign of any clue that would show a person that they are on anyone's ignore list. I do remember, however, one person here who actually listed in their sig line who was on their ignore list!! I won't name names, though, as that could get me in HEAPS of trouble.

I don't think you'll have a hard time remembering who doesn't like you, Bryn. We all like you, as far as I know. And if someone doesn't...pfffft....who cares???

For the record, I am not ignoring anyone these days...so go ahead and PM away. Unless you are ignoring me , of course, then ignore this message..

You know, I can't answer that with authority since my accounts all have admin privileges - so my testing won't be accurate.
