Thanks Bryn, I hope you are well. Been quiet lately has it?? Any reason why that is, anything I need to be aware of, or is this just one of those quiet occasions that we get every now and then??

:wah: Hahaha perhaps I guess. Sure has been a good World Cup I must admit, still a shame that we aren't there though, but never mind, maybe next time.

Oh quite true, yesterday was pretty pathetic, and they really should be ashamed of themselves if they are ever shown some of those dives. Was funny watching the French manager, as those dives came in thick and fast, he certainly wasn't impressed was he, and who can blame him!!

Gary Linneker did a nice little 'piece' at the end of the game last night...a compilation of 'dives'....they were so blatant ...it was scandalous.

As one of the comentators said, whilst FIFA insist that the refs go card happy for the slightest contact, the players will take advantage.
Admit that football is a contact sport, card only dangerous tackles with free kicks for illegal tackles and the diving goes away.

You are so right! This place is just like real life.. plenty of ups and downs.. I finally realized that there were more ups than downs..
Hello Susie, I'm very well thank you, just been very busy with Jury service, flooding, tv's breaking down........ basically a lot over the last month hahaha, but things seem to have calmed down for now. How about yourself, you keeping well?
And yes there are many ups and downs in life and in here. Things are great when they are up, but when they are down you have to stay strong and believe that an up turn is not long coming, as I'm sure it will be given time.

Br please stay out of my threads. I ignored you for a reason! Thanks.
I know it's tempting but you really can't tell anyone to stay out of "your"
threads.
Isn't the ignore function working for you? Or are you just seeing something
when someone quotes BR?

I believe Rodney King (picture and all) has been quoted here many times:
"Why can't we all just get along?"

Hi TGirl --
Buster and I live right outside of Boston, Massachusetts. It's been nice spending time with such a diverse group of people.
I usually get bored quite easily.
I've never been bored here:)
