It has already been shown you do not want facts, you ignore them.

I do feel sorry for you, that you can not view another culture and find somthing positive about them. That shows a closed mind, so I do not think you would make a good debate candidate anyway.

I don't give a flying fig what you think.

I did not say that I found nothing positive about Native Americans.. There are a lot of things about the Native American culture that I think are pretty cool.

I don't think they deserve your pity.. I don't think they want your pity...I certainly don't think they got a bad shake out of their experience with Euro-American culture. Before we arrived, they were blood thirsty nomads.. who killed and left nothing but waste in their wake. They were a stagnating race, doomed to a miserable life and no prospects to advance. That's just a fact. Now they run casinos, and live tax free on reservations that you and I pay for.. (at least those who want to can...)

Native Americans who choose to be American certainly are welcome into the fold.. but don't blow a bunch of smoke under my skirt with a bunch of facts not in evidence about what a successful culture they were.

I do not show pity for them, I study and research them. They are my friends and mentors, and you know not what you are talking about. They actually are very supportive of what I do.

I only show pity this once, to you, by replying to your post.

It would be nice to hear you state something constructive about them, instead of negative responses. Your negativity only shows through with those last two responses.

CR, you really should quit with the attacks on another member or members.

Saying stuff like "I don't give a flying fig what you think" is uncalled for.

And your post directed at Cher is downright snarky. I think you should

apologize AND/OR remove that post.

Chonsigirl certainly can take care of herself. It's nice that you choose to be the worlds protector.. but nobody really needs your help just yet.

Oh.. well, since you asked.. I think there are all kinds of cool things about native American Culture. I like the way they have learned to live off the land. I respect their ability to hunt. I think that the way that Native Americans raise there children to respect their elders is admirable. I deeply appreciate the way that Native American boys are taught to respect their women. I appreciate even more the way Native American women treat their men. I like the fact that they are a people who ask for very little, and have no desire to do much more.. I think Native American men are among the fiercest warriors..

All kinds of things I like about their culture.. but it's still a culture that was doomed. They needed to be assimilated, so that they could finally progress.

There you go again. Go read your TOS, please. Personal attacks aren't

allowed.

I didn't choose to be the world's protector, and whoever needs my help

we'll let them decide.

Your behavior is unacceptable. You really do need to re-think.

Captain --

I couldn't care any less about the number of posts I make. Quality, not quantity, is my only objective. Are my posts with two words any less valuable than your posts with 200 words?

Thank God I don't have to wake up to you every morning.
