G'day Carolyn and welcome to the Forum Garden. It's a great place !!! And Michigan's pretty nice too. I'm an aussie, but had a wonderful adventure a couple of years ago driving right round Lake M, swimming in your side of it (no sharks!!) and camping out there too. Loved it.

I'm over here in a little state know as TX. Hi I know a little about Texas---I was born in Texas City but raised in Michigan. Thanks for the welcome.

There's a Texas City? :yh_hypno I did not know this... I was born in CA. and raised in TX... I know little about either state... I don't know much about any states really... I am one of those people who knows random, unimportant trivia/facts... okay, I don't know about that either... :-3

Type "Texas City Disaster" on your search engine and read about Texas City. My family moved there in 1947 to help rebuild.
