G'day Annabelle and welcome to the Forum Garden. There's loads of grey matter around in here, much of it still in situ, though, one must admit that occasionally - but only in the nicest way - body parts do get separated from the mother ship.
Seriously - along with the goofy members (I can't believe Sheryl called me goofy girl in another thread when I hadn't even had my morning coffee so had a perfect excuse for being a bit random!!) are a load of higher intelligence life forms. When I first entered these hallowed halls I had to invest in a large dictionary in order to understand the debate. It serves as a handy projectile too, if Aussie logic and careful reasoning don't cut it.
PS And is great for swatting spiders.

Bad Girl, Snoozie.. come and we'll find the Forum Garden nurse!!! I think there's a thread somewhere bogged down in House episodes. That might do the trick. It's great to have you on board Starship Surreality, Annabelle. If ever I look like I haven't had my morning coffee, please keep words to one syllable and I'm with you... (It's just gone 10am Friday here now, so the world is again safe.. I'm caffeined up properly.).. And now I gotta go do some work... Catch y'all later.

Ooops!!! FG Public Relations Outreach gurus run classes in here now on how to welcome new arrivals in appropriate manner but some of the irregulars here insist on being themselves... right from the start. On another level, it's considered by some to be a good first initiation rite. Those who actually survive their introduction thread welcome, mostly go on to becoming fine, upstanding, well rounded, contributors within this unlikely yet strangely compelling community.
Watch out for Rachel!! The smug grin on her face shows that she herself is now available for second initiation rite processing. She did us proud in her earlier trial by barbecue.

This is inflammatory ! Dammit Annabelle ! Peachy ? What about the whales ? I think theres a whale problem somewhere. Is that peachy to you ? Hmmm ?
Man, just when you think you know someone they diss the whales. How can a person be easy going about troubled whales ? I dont know.
