You've endorsed the death penalty, as I recall. How did you come to this conclusion?

I believe in an eye for an eye (maybe im a vengeful bitch) when you comit premeditated murder (in my opinion) you give up your right to be treated with care and respect. You have no other purpose in society and society deserves a break from you so you need to be incarcerated for the remainder of your natural life (again in my opinion ) i see no point in keeping somebody so evil alive (and paying for its upkeep) because that person has no place in society instead of keeping them locked up you may as well take their life - a life for a life .

I dont think im that different, maybe i have a antiquated outlook on things

maybe being british has something to do with it. I really am just sick and tired of the level of crime we have here in the UK and the lack of deterrent i believe is why crime is rising . Prisons seem to be full to breaking point but still the criminal element have the upper hand. I do believe in the DP but only for very serious crimes like murder , rape and cop killers and serious crimes against children . With the advances in DNA technology getting the wrong person would be very slight .To me these crimes are so hideous the perpetrators have no place in my world (in my ideal world):) sorry if that doesnt make much sense i really dont know how to explain how i feel
