I don't appreciate such humour, I know where I am. I was simply asking him where he was coz thats the sort of crazy thing I would ask being from england....

Hi Olly,

Nice to meet you all. I agree, its great to get new perspectives, but, I am very pro American as my late father was from Canada.
If that doesn't make sense, well :wah:

Strange that, I was trying to get over the Pond to your country for years
I made in last year when my daughter went to work for Camp America, in California, after she finished her Degree Course, and when she finished her 2 month stint, I met her in New York.
Loved it. Every moment. Stayed around midtown, and soon got the hang of the yellow cabs. Hot and sticky though in August. The Museums are to die for, and everyone was so friendly. Found some real bargains clothes wise too.
Visited Florida, Port St. Lucie, in the 70's, and next year hope to visit Arizona, a dream of mine, and stay on a ranch.

I'm sure, Olly, that it will be a pleasure to converse with you on the Forum. And I'm sure you will rise to the expectations of your teachers and handle the complusory courses well.
