Hi!

Well I discoverd this place by typing in "Discussion forums" on google and this was one of the links, so I clicked it. I wanted to be part of a forum that discusses life, the universe and everything and this one appears to do that and so I joined. It's a bit big though, guess it has to be if you are talking about life, the universe and everything . I seem to be writing nonsense. I do that a lot. Although, I am capable of writing something with a point to it don't worry. Three years at university does teach you something at least .

I will come back and explore a bit later on, only I have been on the computer a while and I need something to eat and a break. I haven't said much about myself have I? :-3 Errr, my user name is mongoose because I think mongooses are ace! There we go! Yes, the plural of 'mongoose' is in fact 'mongooses' (not mongeese)- i looked it up once. Need to get out more. :wah:

Oh, Mongoose, did you ever find THE perfect place for all those discussions you talk about!! Any and every topic you can think of has a place here. It's a very family-type forum, as we consider ourselves to be good friends. Some of us have even met other members.

I like mongooses too - Rikki Tikki Tavi and all that, Mongoose! There seems to be the opportunity on this forum to discuss everything and anything and it doesn't seem age-based, which is nice. By that I mean I like to find myself chatting to people younger than myself!

Hiya Mongoose.......I woulda thunked the plural of mongoose was monghy...but having seen how that looks its probably a good thing its not!

Er I'll argue about most of those things :wah: . Except the quiche one, I dunno how to make quiche at all! I don't know what TP stands for either lol! I tend to agrue mostly about religion, philosophy, British politics (cos I know very little about American politics), how to make the best cup of tea, and sport (mainly football- that's soccer to you Americans).

:wah: We call soccer football because the players control the ball with their feet- hence the foot in football. In American football the players run with the ball in their hands! So now tell me which one is more legitimatly called football.

Hello again!

I've been up in Manchester visiting a friend for a couple of days, thats why I dissapeared .

To make the best cup of tea (in a mug) you put the milk in before the water. After you put the tea bag in first obviously . I can't comment on the toliet paper question as we do not have a toilet roll holder, so it just stands on its end. Student house see. :wah:

Yes I am enjoying myself so far. I'm still trying to find my place though but it's still early days yet.

I find that at times I forget that I have not eaten when I'm online... it's not until I begin getting hunger pains that this realization comes to me... anyway, I spaced out there for a minute...
