Hi sarah, welcome to FG.

We've got a couple of us that are knowledgeable in pets and their health and training. Usually Val or I field those questions, so it will be nice to have someone else who can add to that area!

I'm sure you'll make a great addition. Welcome again! :yh_peace

Hi Valerie, Ion, Snooze Control, nihilisticmadman, sixyearsleft, redman, chonsigirl, cherandbuster, marie5656

WOW what a lovely greating from you all. I love the images people are posting too. I'll have to learn how to do this to.

I took a great photo of a ring tail possum that was hanging upside around near my front door last night. The moon was pretty much a full moon. THe combination of the moon and my digital camera flash had a weird effect. It looks like the possum has superman type rays coming out of its eyes. As soon as I find the cord to down load it I'll try to get it on this post!

Marie5656 your Chinchilla Trixie is VERY CUTE> We dont have chinchillas in Australia but last year I worked in Wales for 12 months and I meet some lovely chinchillas. They are amazing little creatures.

Yes, my Trixie is pretty amazing. She has alot of personality, and a bit of a temper if she is feeling out of sorts. I seem to remember hearing before that there were no chins in your part of the world.

Hiya Sarah, welcome to FG!

Your arrival is quite timely because I think one of the Garden's squirrels is having problems with his nuts! :wah:

Storing them, of course......whadidya think I meant? :yh_rotfl

Hey Niamh ( pronounced Neeve )

that's good to know, I was calling you Knee-am in my head!

These darn Irish names! Lol! (I'm half Irish - I'm allowed to say that! hehehe) ;)

Did you ever see the Vicar of Dibley episode where the chap Geraldine likes wants her to marry him to Aiofe? He jokes with her name and says "Missing U!" hehehe

Hey there Shelleybelle73

I like your sig:

Breathe in, Breathe out, thats all any of us can do at the end of the day...

But I have to breathe in and out ALL day....not just at the end of the day!

You must have amazing breath control! Roflmao!

Lol! A big welcome to all of you to FG! *grins and winks*

Hello Sarah... let me start off by telling you that I'm deeply jealous of you and the attention you've gotten... I put up an introduction of myself yesterday and you have 3 pages vs. my 2 pages and I've written in it like 3 times... :-5 All jealousy aside... I hope you enjoy posting here... I feel like I've been here awhile because I've been running around like crazy posting in different threads... the folks here seem to be a friendly bunch... don't let them try and scare you away with their odd talk of tenderizing and grilling... pssst... it has to do something with Amway I think... anyhoo, hope you have a lovely day...:D

Thanks Rachel. you sound very sweet. I'm having a shitty week so I haven't had a chance to do any posting. My little darling dog is sick. Well she's been sick for 6 months now( it's cancer) but she went in the back end on monday and I have to put her to sleep tomorrow. I should have done it today but I just couldn't face it. I guess we all put ourselves into stupid corners from time to time. Here I am too teary to go out in public to get more cigs. which I ran out hours ago. Oh bugger it...I'll wear my sunglasses! but it's night time here and I'll probably freak out the service station attendent.

Sarah. I'm a Sydney girl too. Where are you there? So very sorry to hear about your dog. ((((((( Sarah )))))). I'm glad you've come here to join us. The FG is a great place.

(Take no notice of Nomad - he comes as a job lot with the FG - we know his little ways and are kind to him.... guffaw)

Welcome Sarah! I love animals too!:D As a matter of fact, I'm feeding the squirrels and the bunny rabbits that live under my school's portable buildings right now.

Hey, will birdseed be enough for them? That and the leftovers from the kid's lunches?:-2

I love squirrels too. I saw some in England and Scotland when i was visiting friends. They are great little animals. I guess possums are our equivalent in OZ.

Does any one know how to put a photo on this website? I'd love to show you one.

Well the dead is done and It's very sad but there you have it. Life has its ups and downs.

Im very sorry about you pet friend Sarah. I really am. A little saying I like....something along the lines of if it werent for the love you had the sorrow wouldnt exist. I guess thats lame but my point is you can be thankful for the time you had.

Again, Sarah, I'm so sorry!!!

As for posting graphics in here. It's very easy. Management doesn't like it when we hotlink to graphics on other internet sites. So Good little Gardeners do it by going down the screen beneath the posting box that I'm typing in right now to the Additional Options section. Click the Manage Attachments button and you'll be able to browse your own hard drive. Open the pic file you want, click upload. Then click Submit Reply as normal, and she should be apples (or if you're following other current surreal threads here right now, lemons!). By magic the graphic is even thumbnail sized for you automatically.

.. ps

On the subject of lemons... I see the Nomad has just posted. He is the cause of this amazing aforementioned citrus proliferation - having gone AWOL apparently and instead of giving thanks his mates all took to wearing lemons, as he has that dancing lemon thingie as his av.... Go figger... :yh_rotfl

Awww, Sarah... I'm so sorry to hear that... :( I offer you a hug as well... (((((Sarah))))). I hope that your week gets better for you and that when you feel up to, you post on here more... you are the one who seems very sweet and I was so pleased to see I didn't scare you with my greeting... sometimes I'm a little too "me" and forget that I may actually frighten someone, perhaps? Ahh, don't worry about freaking out the service station attendant (which is actually quite a long title... I would just call him guy) because he's probably a freak himself... you know the kind that sits up late at night, hiding out in his basement on the internet pretending to be some type of self-employed important person, and sounds like Mr. Perfect? Yeah, if Hannibal Lecter is your type... :-3 Hmmm... just trying to bring a teeny smile to your face with my odd sense of humor... Hope you have a wonderful day/night... Take Care, Rachel :yh_worshp

BTW, thanks for the warm greetings, people... :yh_giggle
