I would just like to thank an Amerivan friend of mine who put me on to this guy. I rarely read fiction apart from Dickens but I have to tell you I have just read "Skinny Dip" and it made me laugh out loud, fantastic book

i know carl, been in his house.he lives in the florida keys. i never read fiction except for him (and English lit.) .he is absolutely hilarious and brilliant. must read....'tourist season', 'kick ass' , a compilation of his miami herald columns, and see list of all his others...he writes for the south florida audience about south florida craziness. he has a website. www.carlhiaasen.com.
