Who knows of a good (prefer it to be free) photo hosting site that will hold just under 2G worth of pics.

It is going to be a long drawn out process if I have to reduce all my UK pics and I am trying to avoid that :(

Here's a list of different hosting sites that are free. The second looks promising. :D

If you have a gmail email account it holds 2,7gb's and rising of information.

Photo's can be uploaded in 10 mb chunks. It can be used to store all your information without losing any. :)

Minks is finding a solution that lets us all look at her goodies at the same time.

http://www.irfanview.net/ is freeware, minksie, and it has a Batch option to resize a directory full of files in one step. If you want to pull them all down to 50kB 640x480 to get them to fit into a more usual photo display site, that's the software for the job.

aw crikey, I am almost half way through in Photobucket, seems they are auto resizing for me.... so I hope this is going to work for you all.

I have to advise you, there is loads of pics not all are high quality and some are repeats of what you have seen and some are duplicates in my collection, this project would take wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to long to fine tune right now. I am just desperate to get them uploaded for all to see. Currently I am.... uploading then I will have to go back in and do a brief description.

well thankfully I did that first then loaded the pics onto my flash drive and as I work away today at work, I slip over to uploading and load up a bit at a time... so no worries all pics that are there will be upright.
