Yesterday I saw on the news, a Baby that had "3" full size working arms! The doctors were evaluating the 2 left arms to see which one worked the best, & they were going to remove the other arm. :wah: I've seen deformed extra arms, legs, fingers, but never a fully developed extremity like this. What the -- is going on, is it something in the water?:-2

Can you say DDT? Can you say very rare birth defect?
I must say that I attribute most diseases to either environment or birth defects.
My very special Uncle died of Palsy........directly attributed to his spraying of DDT for 20 years. They banned it in this country and he went to Peru and sprayed it for another 10 years. I KNOW from my background that DDT is directly related to Palsy.

I saw this on the news as well, the one arm doesn't have a palm, one is OK, the third is a bit smaller and extends from just below the clavical it seems to be fully functional as well. I guess they are going to wait and see which hand the baby favors before making a decision of which one to remove..

Very rare birth defect these days..

Wow.... I wonder why they would want/need to remove the extra arm at all. It sounds like all have weaknesses and strengths. To have them all would help balance that. Imagine having to buy clothes for that?!?!

Removal would certainly curtail a promising career as a juggler

Yeah! Also just think of the problems you would have trying to buy "1-1/2 pairs of gloves"! :wah: :p (2 lefts, & 1 right)
