Sad. Reminds me of something that happened to once. Got a call from a credit card collection agency...that a credit card I had closed months earelier had sent my account to collections....over a balance of 40 cents. I just sat there and asked the person on the phone how much it was costing them to collect this "huge" debt from me. The person was silent a moment, then said "This is nuts, I am clearing your account," then apologised for wasting my time. So often companiues spend so much time looking at the pig picture, they miss the little one. A penny, gawd, let me grab my chage jar, I have a few dollars worth in there. I could send it out, maybe save someone else the hassle.:-3

Earlier this year, a man died of carbon monoxide poisoning from the space heater he was using while waiting for the electric company to turn his power back A WEEK after paying his bill in full! This happened in Detroit, if I am not mistaken.

Corporate pedantic insanity, second only to governmental inefficiencies and bull.
