There was a local news story a while ago that a kid had got hold of some viagra and was peddling it to his mates...can just imagine that. Even less reason to go near year 11 boys:wah:
Oh fer Pete's sake. (Who is Pete, anyway?)
Like young boys need viagra....they get a woody when the wind blows!!! :yh_rotfl

Yes Pinky, there are lazy teachers out there.
What made me mad today, was I opened up my school e-mail since I stayed home to take my husband for some tests. And it isn't even summer yet, and they were dictating me giving up a week of vacation for math training! And they are only going to pay us $162 for a 40 hour week of work! That won't even pay my nurses expenses! I will crank it up a notch tomorrow when I go in................

Pinky wrote: They have to at the moment anyway, year 9`s are currently doing SATS tests, and year 11 are prepping for GCSE`s. I`m even staying late to help some of them with revision, and the bits they don`t get.
It just annoys me when someone is getting paid three times more than I am and they just can`t be bothered and leave it to me!
Pink, you're a teacher??? Wow, you have just earned a TON of my respect. I believe that teaching is one of the most important, and most under-appreciated and thankless jobs in the world. Not to mention underpaid.
We have several teachers here, and I appreciate and applaud each and every one of them. You guys are shaping the future, and I am glad it's you and not me. I couldn't do what you guys do. :yh_clap :yh_clap for all teachers!!!!

Pinky, there should be funding fo you to take your classes, check with your school and district. They should pay for most of your classes, if you are already working in a school setting. You already know the ropes, you will be great being in charge of the classroom!

Pinky wrote: Well, I`m a teaching assistant really! I go into classes to help out, and take small groups of kids out of class for advanced input.
No matter, you're still tops in my book. Teachers deserve more recognition than they get, that's for damn sure.
