My snake is "Fuzzy", even though he's not, and my cat is "Monster", because he is.

My grandparents had a black farmcat when I was growing up called "Piewackitt" No idea where that name came froom.

That's the cat from "The Bell, The Book and the Candle." In the movie it was a dark sealpoint Siamese cat.

It's not weird (at least I don't think it is ;) ) but Tamsen is unusual.

She's the only Tamsen out of 164,000 something dogs on Dogster.

She got that name after Tamsen Donner of the Donner Party, who had

courage and loyalty (to her husband who was very sick) and turned

down I think it was 2 chances at rescue, so she could stay by her

husband's side. Those were qualities I wanted in my girl pup (and I

got 'em!!) plus I just like that it's not common. Here, Fido...

And no, I`m not called Scabby or Wombat (although they would suit me quite well, haha!!!)

The reason we call him that is because when he first came home he was so scrawny i called him scab ( his real name is george but he's never answered to it )

and my daughter would call him Dude so in the end we used to call him Little Scabby Dude and it's stuck and now he wont answer to anything else... it just get's a little embarrasing at the vet's so we try to use his real name George and explain when we get there . He even wear's a little gold G on his collar - i know stupid really .:D
