Best way to keep up on current threads? Use the "Today's Posts" button on the top of the page in the top green stripe, 3rd button in from the left.

Hehehe oh no need to apologise now, I think bikers are great, though I still have trouble with plain old bicycles, so you won't catch me on one. :wah:

BR - Nice to meet you too mate! Only had my full license for a year, but have so far gone through a CG125, a Virago 535, Cb500 and am currently on a CBR 600.

Not affiliated to anyone, though I do go to local bike meets and the odd show:)
Just out of curiosity, why have you gone through so many bikes in a year? Just trying to find one that really suits you?

You really can't comprehend how thrilled I am to have another female rider here, Pinky, I really REALLY hope you stick around!! :yh_pray

Well let me tell you that I've had some pretty 'exciting' rides on my bike without an engine. I mean trying to cycle up a hill is always fun especially when you are in the shape I'm in hahaha. And what more pleasure can one have then ringing the beloved bicycle bell. :p

I mean who needs to drive really fast down the street to scare old ladies, when the bell still works a treat!! :D

Pinky wrote: Nice to meet another Female Biker too...I am planning on sticking around, don`t worry!

Have gone through so many bikes as I wanted a bigger bike after I passed my full test, then discovered the Virago needed too much cleaning (we live down a dirt track, and they go rusty at the slightest hint of rain!) So then I got the CB500, which I would still have if I hadn`t seen my current bike on Ebay....it`s bright pink and I just had to have it!:D
Oh I can fully understand about the bigger bike. I put 2,000 miles on my 450GS last year and my hubby wants a new bike, so I'll be taking over his 1100 Aero this year. I love my purple 450, but the 1100 is such an awesome bike, all chromed ot and he just put Vance and Hines pipes on it...sounds killer!! (There's a pic of my bike in my profile if'n you'd like to see it.)

Glad you're staying...you'lll have a blast here!! :yh_bigsmi

I'll see if I can find a pic of the 1100 to post here for ya.

The GS is great on just about any road, dirt, gravel, whatever. It's also good for leaving the hubby in the dust!! Of course, you're talking about a 900 pound bike and a 240 pound man, compared to a 300 pound bike and a 115 pound woman. But it still feels great to crush him in a race!! :yh_rotfl
