To Mr Ken Livingstone, who likes to fund St Patricks day celebrations in London but refused to do the same to the St Georges day celebrations. This stance has changed but I suspect it was after pressure and a political opportunity to use it as a promotion for the 2012 Olympic bid.

I will fly my St George's Cross with pride and to hell with anybody from my local authority that thinks I shouldnt

Ken Livingstone has always given money does give for St Georges day celebrations, exactly the same amount of money as well.

It's just that the St Patricks day parade is organised better and they get loads of sponsership, especially from Guiness and other 'Irish' products.
