When you go to bed at night, how do you get comfortable. Do you sleep on your side, on your belly, or your back?

I sleep on my back, always have. I cannot get comfortable in any other position. The only time I have ever slept on my stomach was in the first few months of pregnacy with my children. In fact that was what tipped me off that I was pregnant with my daughter.



So are ya'll this wierd and have only 1 position you can go to sleep, or can you sleep anywhere, anyway???

I sleep on my left side only, I dunno why.........................

On Stomach.

Stomach, sides, back, spreadeagled accross the whole thing, I'm quite active in my sleep!

Now my kitty sleeping with me will stretch out wherever he wants to...................

:wah: My son usually come and crawls in bed with me around 3am, which means I end up on the couch around 4am. He sleeps wherever he wants too, and I hate being pinned down by his legs.

I don't get much room in bed to wriggle around i have to share the bloody thing with his lordship and a 10 1/2 stone mutt and then in the night two of the bloody cats creep in,one on the old mans chest ( he's normally sparko so does'nt feel it) then the other fat podgy one try's to kip on me piller and purr purr's in me earole .

Always start on my left side....can't tell you much after that 'cos i'm asleep, but I do wake up a lot in the night for drinks of water....and then...yeah...off to the bathroom.

Start on my left side, then move to the right side, fall asleep and who knows:)

I lay down and I'm asleep I usually so exhausted once the head hit the pillow I have no idea from then on, for the most part start on my left side, usually never move all night..:-3

Gosh, will I sleep tonight? I wasn't nervous about directing the big cantata tomorrow, until the children's director came over and asked me how nervous I was.....................now I am!

Start on my back... think for a minute or two..... roll over onto stomach.. and its coma time.

It's spooky to see how many people sleep on their left hand side...mmm...are all the leftys right handed...I am....

Start out on my left side, have 4 feather pillows surrounding me, end up on my right side by morning. And I'm right handed too.

I sleep on my left side on the left side of the bed. I have to have something on my feet too and the covers on and tucked in at the bottom of the bed. Also...I am in the "fetal postion" when I sleep.

My wife says I sleep in the bj position. On my back arm behind my head with my knees up and legs open. I dunno.

I bounce around alot at night....................

:-2 I have a question for everyone??? What about dreams when you are sleeping. My husband says he doesn't dream....Believe me....I dream all night long and when I tell him the morning about all my dreams....well, he looks at me like I am crazy!!! I ended up getting a book to reveal the meaning of my dreams. Sometimes I wonder where all the stuff I dream about comes from!!!??

I used to have terrifying dreams, not anymore though, most of them now are funny or spiritually fullfilling.

Ah, ice cream as a midnight snack always helps.........................

When I go to work in the morning and tell my girlfriends the "weird" dreams from the night before.....first question, what were you eating before you went to bed??? Well, this week was oatmeal one night and "Lucky Charms" the next night!! Believe me.....weird dreams after both!!!

Ive been telling people for years ! Ever since they changed the little marshmallows something has been very wrong. I think the leprachaun has gone bad. Be very careful the cereal is dangerous.

Maybe that was my problem..the Lucky (yeaha,right???) Charms!! That night I dreamt that I was kidnapped by knife-point!!! SCARY!!!!

Somebody should do something about that little bastard !

I am not an easy person to sleep with. My husband has ended up on the couch more times here lately. I knee him in the back (which is bad) a lot or keep kicking him. I start out on my left side, but must turn on my right side to do this. Sometimes I wake up with my feet on my pillows or sleeping across the bed. I do not sleep well at all any more, and am up and down through the night. When the sleeping good stopped, so did dreaming.

I find I hardly dream at all, or if I do, do not remember it. I think it is because I am always so tired when I go to bed, and not enough sleep. But the only one who would get a kick from me is kitty, and I don't think that happens often. I found it interesting to hear someone else doesn't dream, or maybe we just don't remember....or maybe it is because my husband's bed is next to mine, and I wake up all night long when he tosses and turns alot. And lately, he has been talking in his sleep-it is very interesting. He talks in his normal voice, and talks like nothing had ever happened to him. He is at work, giving orders about contracts, and boats and all those things. But when he awakes, his voice is again frail, and disjointed into one or two sentences that are maybe coherent. But I hear his real voice again, as it once was. Maybe one day he will talk in his sleep to me.

I start on my right side, because I'm reading by a dim lamp and Bullet's spooned up against my back. Then we get too warm and he rolls away. When I'm ready to sleep, I kill the light, and lie on my back. Then I spoon up against Bullet's back. Then we get too warm again, and shove each other away. By morning, the beds a tangled mess, pillows everywhere the cat between us, and I'm usually curled up on my right side again.



Now, won't you all sleep better tonight knowing all that? :yh_rotfl

left side, right side, eventually onto my back, heck when alone I am all over my bed. When the man comes to stay, it's left side with him wrapped around me like the covers.

Dreams ahahaha barely ever remember most of them.

i sleep on my right side. i am left handed. cover over my nose. esp in the winter. i usually dont move much till morning. can go to sleep in seconds when i lay down. i am sooooooo thankful. i have so many friends who talk about not being able to sleep. that would be awful. oh yea, have to have a sheet and quilt tucked in on the bottom. lots of pillows. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

before kids; in the buff

now; one ear always listening for the sneaky kid coming in or sneaking out. have to have on boxers and a shirt so i can head em off before their mission is successful.
