Two years ago, a couple in New Hampshire rescued this dog from a neglectful situation. He was kept in a fenced in yard, ignored and fed occasionally. THey had the dog for 3 weeks before he got loose. He has survived two New England winters, two deer seasons and being hit by a car once and was finally captured using a remote controlled net and a ham dinner!

Now, is it just me or does it sound like the dog was safer in that fenced in backyard?
