Today in Scotland.

Today is haggis hunting day in Scotland. This is a new sport which only officially began last year. It is designed to cull the old haggis' (more properly called 'haggi') before all the new baby haggi are born this spring.
This is because there is not enough grass grown on the mountinsides in Scotlands Cairngorm mountains to support all the old haggi as well as all the new mothers and babies.
A haggis head makes a nice trophy to hang on the wall.
Catching haggis is very easy. Because they evolved on mountain sides their legs are of different lengths, to enable them to walk around the mountains without falling over. Most of them have the left leg shorter than the right and traverse the mountains in an anti-clockwise direction. To catch them all you have to do is to chase them in a clockwise direction and wait until they fall to the bottom of the slope.
People who are unable to catch the Cairngorm haggi in this manner, are deemed to be gorm-less.
NB. You should always eat your kills. Sadly that rules out haggis for me.
