I am brand new, at least here, and am from Canada. I see from the map that most everyone is from the States. I hope to meet some of you and get to know some of you. I am a grandmother to four boys, the oldest is 8. And am mother to two grown and married children. This looks like a very interesting board.:driving:

Miriam, I believe you have to have a certain number of posts to have a signature. Then it would be text only. To have images in your sig line, I think you have to be a supporting member. I'm not positive on any of that, maybe someone can come along and correct me. Check out the TOS, ("Legal Info", bottom of the page) and also, on the home page there's a way to check out how to be a supporting member and what that entails. Lots of extras for a very small price.
I'm NOT trying to get you to pay to be a member, you should hang for a while and see if it's the place for you first. I hope it is, though! :-6

Just for the purpose of more info, I spent $17 US for a full year and the fact that I have space for 2,000 PM's alone made it worth it to me. I do a lot of Private Messaging!!!

Far eastern one I am, just about falling into the Atlantic. East coast Nova Scotia. Can't get much more east than that. Alberta is a beautiful place. I had relatives there. Gotta Go no. Later.:-4 $25 is okay. Worth it for a good site.

Well, whatcha wanna do is turn the 61 upside down, and act as though you are 19.

BTW, US$17 = CN$19.55. I'd hate to think we were getting hosed for CN$25.

Hey Jab, hello to you.

I should have said Noman. I went to choir practice. I like to sing harmony. I live in a small town but no hayfield or barn or milking cows. I like this place. I be back for sure. Oh yes, I am back but it is late here and I soon will be off to bed. See you in the morning.:yh_wave

Hi Richard
How about if I turn it upside down for 19 and just stay young and not bother with the immature.
And that $17.....I don't worry about it because I have PayPal so I just click it in and they do everything and I don't look. It's a given and it has been worse and it bothered me then.

Just got back from dropping my car off at the garage (she's sick again poor ole thing).
I don't get as much time on the Forum as I'd like to, but when I'm on, you'll find me on the Home page checking the latest threads. This tends to get me about the various parts of the Forum more than anything else.
Of course, any thread that you start or reply to comes up under 'My Settings' when anyone replies to it so I can keep up with a thread very easily. Then there are the PMs. These can keep me very busy.
This is a superior Forum. I don't think that our Admins have much to do to keep us in line; although when they do, they are efficient.
Have you checked out the members' Google map yet?
There are characters here from all walks and perspectives, yet we mingle very well.
You're a lively one, too. 61? I don't believe it, you're pulling my leg. Look forward to bumping into you.

Odd that you should speak of compost and planting(well I guess not so odd for a garden forum)but I was just saying to a friend about sowing and reaping. Must have been that birthday card from here working on me. I hope I will throw around more seeds than compost. :wah:
