NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - A man crashed his car after a pet snake he had wrapped around his neck began attacking him, authorities said. Witnesses reported that Courtland Page Johnson, 30, of East Naples, was driving erratically and crashed his PT Cruiser into several barricades about 9 p.m. Tuesday. He got out of his car, wrestled with the snake and then drove off, reports said. When authorities caught up with Johnson at his home, he told them he crashed into another car that had stopped short in front of him. After questioning, Johnson admitted he panicked when his snake bit him. He had cuts and freshly dried blood on his body, but did not need medical attention, reports said. Johnson was charged with leaving the scene of a crash.

Why would drive around with a snake loose in your car?

Well, thats obvious.........he's a man!!! :wah:
Seriously though, men never seem to look ahead and realise what the consequences of their actions might be! They're like kids, they have a brainwave(!), follow it through...........and then wonder why it bites them on the bum!!!
Mothers always look ahead at possible consequences, because they have childrens lives to look out for!
This is just a generalisation and I don't include any FGers in here!
Its just... "in my experience.................." :p

I carry my snake wrapped around my neck when I'm at home. But to get in a car like that? The man must be a dim-wit. (I'm sorry, was that redundant?)

More to the point, he must have been teasing it. Why should the snake bite him. Snakes aren't vindictive, but they hate being teased.
