Whisper to me

A whisper and I open

The touch of his hand and I lay

Myself before him

Naked and vulnerable

Timid and ravenous

Eager and afraid

Yet here I lay,

Softly

Waiting

To be filled with his

Passion

To feel the dragon

Awaken

And soar above all

Pain, above all the

Insanity

Then look down upon

Myself

Impure but beautiful

In his arms.

Hope someone else enjoys this. I know I did. :yh_wink

It is 'free-for-all' enjoyment.

A good poem. Is it your poem or quoted from elsewhere?

It's mine...as much as poetry ever really belongs to a person.

Thanks for enjoying it.

You talk as if you know of what you speak. Perhaps my sensitivity to touch allows me to feel the dragon more easily. Don't bang your head so hard, why don't you write a poem instead.

I fear that to attempt to write anything new would be even less pleasent, for poetry is overly idealistic & optimistic written mostly by those with little realistic understanding, rather fantasy, illogical hope is at there root.

Many of my poems have been written to work through unpleasant emotions. Since I have trouble understanding my emotions it is often best just to give them a playground...poetry.

Hope is what keeps us from being junkies. I decided that while researching the drug infested east side of Vancouver for a documentary. If I am addicted to hope I am not that distraught.

For example, I deeply hope to hear your poetry (erotic is fine). If I am rewarded then it will be fulfilled. If I am not, I will never know what I am missing.

See it is not so silly to be hopeful. Sometimes it is answered.

A sentiment well expressed.

I particularily enjoy the ending. As my understanding of time is somewhat "liberated", to remember the times brings them back to the present as surely as having them recur. That memory is there for the living at any moment you choose.

I like your recognition of self enslavement. Taking reponsibility for your own enslavement. The muses and mystics may appear from the most unlikely sages and the answer may come from your own great mind.

Thank you. :-6 I hope you find/write more. There's that hope thing again. Yet I now have one great poem to return to now that I know what I had been missing.

thus here am I in this giddy world wide web for all to see. :lips:

This is another poem, yes? Now I have two.

I think if you had no hope you wouldn't be here in the Garden. If you did make it here with no hope, you wouldn't be posting if you remained hopeless.

If I found it to be poetic in nature, then to me it is such.

Coming here, and posting has nothing to do with hope rather its painters/writers block or Iam completly overly 110% bored. :guitarist

As I say to my daughter, you are far too intelligent to ever be bored.

post script; is paula being mean or does she understand what she typed? :wah:

I took her comment as a compliment. :)

The most wonderful gift I ever received.....

Was an IDEA that planted a "seed"

That grew into....WEEDS AND LEAVES

It came from a friend who enabled me to know...my path in this life, was to help things grow.

The garden we plan, and plant today,

Link us to life in a beautiful way.

Sun and soil, wind and sky,

These are the healthy reasons why.....

To spend time, working in the ground

Surrounded by the most healing sounds.

Water and birds,crickets and geese

Landscaping brings joy and peace.

Observe our beautiful landscape ,become aware..

Discover a feeling that cannott compare

To ANYTHING that you can buy. A slice of earth surrounded by sky.

Connect with growing things.....

Soon you will know....

Like plants, healthy humans,

Not ONLY live, but grow.

I spent 9 years Landscaping. Started a company in Virginia called Weeds and Leaves. Nine of the best years of my life. Last year was the final year. The old bones had to move on... It broke my heart to give it up..But it was time. Made some of the best friends who will be with me for the rest of my life. I wish I had discovered it 20 years earlier.

Wherever we are... we are quite the same..

Work and play keeping ourselves sane

Think about hurt.. Try to smile

Eat and sleep.. Play on the computer for a while.....

Strive to be better.. Hope to be smart.... Work on self esteem

Speak from the heart

Are you mad at me? translates this way.....

Take me for who I am... Dont run away
