The ripple effect looks pretty bad for a lot of people down there and that's one hell of a tonnage of bananas. Best wishes to anyone caught up in it.
My first post here. My stepdaughter and family emigrated last year and settled on South Mission Beach. I've had emails from her and she and her family are fine, and everyone is out helping everyone else. She said it got to the same grade as Katrina. Oz obviously so much better prepared that New Orleans.
Dreadful about the banana situation.
