Heard just the first few rumours about casting... John Travolta as JR?

I think that would be okay. J-LO as Sue Ellen? Nuh-uh. And Shirley Maclaine

as Miss Ellie? She could probably do a good job.

I love Travolta but have a hard time watching anything with J-Lo in it.

Her butt is so big you could rest a drink on it!

I didn't think it would be possible for anyone to play JR ...... :sneaky:

I hope they dont do this, imo I dont think it will work.

And in my opinion at least with J-Lo, singing isn't her cup of tea either!!

Good Lord...this brings back some memories....'big hair ' and shoulder pads. John Travolta's too nice to be JR...have to think about an alternative idea. I guess any of the Hollywood ladies could be Sue Ellen....they can all put on the quivering lips..

Here's two more possible casting options: Jessica Simpson as Lucy Ewing

and Bill Murray as Jock Ewing!!
