http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 5058414971 is the nicest I can find. The usual retail for a shorter 9-scarab solid gold chain is $325, so the eBay one's not a bad price. They have good feedback from US buyers too.

Do you also play violin, Chonsi? You are indeed a woman of many talents. Are you a classical musician? What would be your favourite piece for violin (esp. electric violin)?

For violin, Vivaldi.

For electric violin, some nice blues and jazz songs, to just jam along. My friend and I are talking of each getting one to do that, but they cost a pretty penny. I know he is getting one, I will just have to borrow his alot at first-or just hook up a mic to my bridge.

Nothing particularly easy to play then. I enjoy some of Vivaldi's works, notably the Four Seasons, although I have never gained an affinity for his operatic works. Jazz is something that I have recently acquired a liking for, though I can't speak with any knowledge on this particular branch of music. I find free style to my liking, but I also like jazzblues, particularly when it cuts through to my emotional centre.

I must confess that as a youngster, I had little to do with music. I became interested when I got involved with a young rock band after I started my apprenticeship. I suddenly found myself writing lyrics and the band's lead guitarist put music to them. This lead me to learn something about musical theory and I taught myself to play a guitar so I could write music also.

When the band disbanded, I continued writing for a while, but social pressures quashed it. But I have recently bought myself a semi-acoustic guitar with a view to learning to play properly. Would love to hear you play electric violin, though.

I remember Curved Air back in 1971 when I was just starting out in the world of work. They have made 12 albums.

May I suggest you use www.allmusic.com to check the titles you're after and then www.gemm.com to locate copies. I spotted several copies of Air Conditioning up for grabs on the latter site, including vinyl.

Marc Ellington had the first half, both of them being on the same label. Chrysalis, I think. And the singer in the group was Sonja Kristina, who was in Hair for a while and sang a song called Frank Mills which everyone seems to know. I have their first two albums on CD now.

Oh, and I saw Marc Ellington sing again, a couple of years ago. I always did like his songs.

Oh, me too! Wouldn't that be great? Can't see it happening though, with house prices soaring as they are!

So, failing that, I'd like a Faberge egg! A real one! I have small ones which are beautiful, even though they are just copies (that sounds rude! hehehe). But to own a real Faberge egg would be amazing!

Oh, I'd need it to be insured too! ;) :D

Marc Ellington made 5 albums of his own between 1969 and 1975; Marc Ellington; Reins of Change; A Question of Roads; Restoration; and Marc Time.

Darryl Way has made 8 albums between 1973 (after he left Curved Air) and 1991.

Francis Monkman made 5 albums betweem 1980 and 2003.

Sonja Kristina has produced 3 albums in 1980, 1995, and 2000.

Sonja stuck with Curved Air which went through a lot of personnel changes.
