I know the site I moderate at, earns money each time an ad is clicked on. How successful is that here? I have a heck of a time remembering to click on them and help out the sites I like.

I would imagine that people who read ads. to support a forum they like are

few and far between.

No doubt. I try to click on the ads while I clean house. I just walk in click, go clean, walk back in and click again LOL. That is, on the rare occasion I think about it.
