A sex trafficker who helped gang-rape a woman he planned to sell to Saudi Arabian slavers has been jailed for fourteen-and-a-half years.

Eimantus Suliauskas targeted the 22-year-old and one of her friends after deciding he could make a fortune from them.

But he and several fellow Lithuanians first decided to "try them out" for themselves.

London's Snaresbrook Crown Court heard he had no sooner lured the pair to his home than the rest of the gang suddenly jumped out. As her friend was dragged screaming to another room, he told the woman he had selected for himself: "One way or another, you are already dead. You have fallen into my trap. We are going to take you and sell you but first we will try you out in bed."

But he warned that if she did not come up to expectations she would pay with her life. "Lots of people need organs for transplants and we know places by the river where you will float away," he added.

Seconds later she was frogmarched into a nearby bedroom for an hour-long ordeal of multiple rape and other sexual indignities. The second woman, who was 24, was also raped. Both their ordeals were filmed on a camcorder.

When the men had finally exhausted themselves, one of them stood guard over their captives while the others slept. But when he dozed off, the younger woman escaped by clambering through a first floor window, leaping 15 feet to the ground and frantically flagging down a passing motorist. He drove her straight to a police station, but by the time officers arrived the gang and the other prisoner had disappeared.

Despite being on the run for months, Suliauskas managed to send a message to the woman that if she did not withdraw her complaint he would post her filmed ordeal on the internet.

The 24-year-old defendant, of Grove Road, South Woodford, London, who was cleared at an earlier trial of a near copycat rape, was arrested after the woman in the latest case spotted him in the street by chance.

He was convicted of twice raping her on October 3 2004, causing her to engage in sexual activity without her consent, and falsely imprisoning both her and her friend who was eventually traced. His accomplices remain on the run.

When Pearl Harbour was bombed all Chinese Americans were put into concentration camps. Perhaps we should put all Muslims into a detainment centre and weed out the radicals and deport them! I know its an impossible idea but its frustrating that these people want to live here, probably on benefits, and yet want to attack and terrorise our people. If they hate us that much they should have the backbone to live in their own countries, even in poverty, and face us like men instead of skulking like vermin and attacking our citizens by stealth.

The majority of people from other religions don't agree with these cowardly and heinous attacks. Yet they MUST have an idea of what is going on in their own mosques or groups. They should show solidarity with our people and back up their words of friendship by weeding out these radicals and either giving them up to the police or aiding us to deport them!
