Same happened to me too snooze. So what! Folks come here to have a good time and each one of us does so in a different way. Why does every post made have to make a profound statement? It doesn't. The forum would be rather boring if everything had to be serious. Some of your quirky posts are fantastic and make others laugh. I know they do for me. Keep posting snoozer! :-6

I posted this in response to the comment you mentioned Snoozy.

The number of posts 'racked up ' is an irrelevance to me and if we had time to go and read the 'high posters' posts...ummm??...i bet we would find them a mixture of chat, banter and meaningful discussion. I guess they also reflect the time spent here per day /week.

I like 'fluffy'....I post 'fluffy'....isn't this what FG is all about ....something for everyone....

I think the intention of the comment made by fletch was to say that giving credence to someones comments because they have wracked up alot of posts was the issue, that the person in question could have fill it with lots of lol, l agree, as you laughed at yourself snooze.

I dont think from my reading of it that it was a slur against anyone posting anything just that we all post many different things and the amount should not be the only way to see it, but also the quality, and of course we need fluffy.

If we didnt have a bit of fluff now and then l would go mad, thats why l have usually stayed away from certain posts, l just didnt need the headache l was coming here to chill not get my blood pressure up...

I have a feeling the communication wires are getting crossed again. just like me and flippin BT, still getting ghost noises on the line and they won't have it...

I like chatting with you and reading your opinions and jokes, and stories, etc. POST AWAY, Snoozie, I will read them all!

I have been a member here for about 15 months, and do not have even 1000 posts. What I do have is memories of participating in threads in the past, that have moved me to the point of thought for days. I remember putting tremendous thought, at times,in my reply to others.I cannott reply to political threads...my knowledge and understanding is limited in that area. Religious topics go nowhere eventually, because there isnt a definitive place for them to go. And I do not have the knack for flippant humorous responses. From the very beginning, I never looked at post numbers like a contest. It was just an easy and relaxed flow of words chosen to be shared when the mood struck. Its nice here. People will come and people will go, and the contributors, or just the readers will take what they will and discard the rest.

Well said Clancy! A LOT of times I could just copy a post and write 'Agreed' underneath it, but that would be boring and repetitive for others to read if I did it all the time. So while I agree, I don't actually 'say' anything.

But then, if everybody said nothing, there'd be no forum! Who would stay if all the posts were weeks old and nobody added to them. For a forum to flourish it needs to be cared for (like a garden) where seeds of thought are planted and allowed to flourish. And who wants just one kind of flower in their garden? Here there are a wild variety of flowers/ posters/ posts/ thoughts and topics.

So, for whoever complained about the pink fluffy stuff.....drink weedkiller! hehehe

I dont get the post count thing

If Im here and I want to say something I say it

I dont even look at the post count...who cares ?

Some people are selective and choose their replies carefully, others might read more and join in just once in awhile

Sneeze you and I are alike we get in blast away and get out

its just a matter of personality and style...counts are meaningless

Well, I just got back from visiting my husband in the hospital to find this thread, and I have to assume that the original post is directed at my comments from last night.

I stand by my original statement and belief that post count does not matter in the slightest, and all the hubbub about when a poster reaches a certain mark or number is a tad silly. Sorry my opinion isn't mainstream but it is mine.

Snooze screw them and the horse they rode in on..!!

Your post count is great and every post is worth the time it took to read it...:-4
