I've got homemade stuffed cabbage rolls, mashed potates, corn and cranberry relish with blackberry pie for dessert.

I had lemon sole goujons with a herb lemon dip with broad beans..yummy ! I bought Papaya yesterday for a change. Very expensive and it didn't have much taste....disappointing.
Your meal sounds great Lil....what do you stuff the cabbage leaves with ?

Sole sounds yummy Bez!
I use a mixture of ground round, rice and seasonings in my cabbage rolls.

Today I cooked 6 dinners for the week using Chicken breasts, Mushrooms, Leeks, Carrots, New potatoes, Broccoli and onions in a rich onion gravy.
I've had one already and I don't mind telling you, it was most delectable as the chicken just fell apart. Mmm Mmmmmmmmmmm

These meals all sound wonderful. :-6
Saturday's beautiful weather here brought a taste for summertime eating. I made deviled eggs and BLT's for lunch. Boy did they hit the spot. Hubby felt very treated by the selection.

Mmmmmmmmmm divine !
I made Chicken fajitas with some left over chicken, peppers and onions.
It is hard when you're eating on your own not to just eat rubbish, but as I'm desperate to be a slimmer 'mother of the bridegroom' in June, I need to be very strict with myself.
All suggestions for quick healthy meals for one appreciated.....wish I could be as organised as Unc. ....cooked 6 meals all at once to last the week !!

My passion is baking sweetie! I'm so sorry if you feel tormented by my pie baking. :p
Livin' in the country and not having fast food restaurants nearby....can't even get a dang pizza delivered where I live, I cook what I have a taste for. If I don't have unexpected company drop in to share it with, I then freeze some and share the rest with my outside critters. :wah:
*Basco whispers to Nomad....I'm baking bread right now, and apple pie this week-end*
