Hello Clancy, what you have there is a Shield Bug.

Sometimes they vary in shape and colour, depends what part of the country you find them in.;) have a look here mate.

Aye they seem to popping up everywhere, we had one the house last week, in the middle of winter, They are actually pretty cute wee buggers.

No...please please don't go there....we've been there all week (at FG I hasten to add)...it's been exhausting !!!! You'll have to go searching to see what I mean....but don't because we won't see you til Easter :D
