Why is it not right... for a child to be adopted into a home that would provide love, safety, guidance, ...etc.. just because the parents are gay/lesbians doesn't mean they cannot provide this for them..

This is a bit disrespectful to all the single Dads (and Mums) in the world who bring up perfectly well behaved, repectful and well balanced kids.....girls and boys. In these circumstances, it falls on a single parent of either sex to tell children of BOTH sexes the facts of life.

The "What's next?" has no predicate, so I think this is just a rhetorical question.

But the "1/1/06" is a complete mystery to me. What happened on that date? Did the law go into effect? Is it your birthday?

And the last sentence, "kids from brocken (broken?)homes" is also pretty much a mystery. Is the government trying to find homes for the large number of orphans created by divorce? Does that even make sense?

OK. I read this whole thread and I think that you are against the adoption of children by gay couples.

This post seems to imply that you think it would be a bad idea to have two same sex partners raise a child, and implies that a child will automatically become gay because of this. Am I right?
