Trail Mix on Animal Planet

Anyone seen the trailer for this show? Here's a link if not:

(The show is called Trail Mix). A show about country stars and their horses? Next it’ll be Rock Opera heroes and their little yappy dogs. I guess Joe Perry is supposed to be on Trail Mix, so he’s not country. I love TV like this, I wonder if they realize how much of the audience will be watching just because they can't believe that this sort of thing is on TV.

Well, I have to admit I'd like to see it just for the horses!
So I can get really envious!

Do you ride? I used to when I was a kid. I still love horses, and judging by the clips I watched on animalplanet.com Trail Mix looks like it'll have some very beautiful horses indeed.

I ride when I can... which is not often enought to suit me! I have a
standing invite to go for a ride in the Sierra foothills... about 2 hours
away from me. So I think I'm just going to have to get up there soon,
even though the weather is the pits!!
I pretty much had my pick growing up... it was wonderful.

That's awesome. I had to ride at a stable, so I got to choose between three horses. Then the liability insurance went up and the stable forbade riding to anyone who wasn't boarding a horse, so I was out of luck. Anyway, it's nice to know that there are celebrities out there who actually take care of their own horses; I saw a clip on Trail Mix on TV yesterday and the star (I didn't recognize them) was talking about how much of her day is taken up by the horses, it's nice to know they do more than just ride.
