Hi: I checked into this forum yesterday and jumped into a Philosophy thread without looking anywhere else first - probably a bit reckless of me. It looks like there's plenty of activity here, so I'll take a careful look around before I leap into anything else.

There was this guy, he was an enemy of mine, I had to admit that what he had accomplished was a brilliant piece of strategy. First, he punched me, then he kicked me, then he punched me again. I hope your not that guy !

Thanks a lot for these several welcomes. All very cordial - except for Nomad who seems to think I'm a sinister somebody from his past. It could be that he has a joke here that's gone over my head.:rolleyes:

You know Alan that reminds of a recent situation. I guess I kinda lost control, because in the middle of the play I ran up and lit the evil puppet villain on fire. No, I didn't. Just kidding. I just said that to help illustrate one of the human emotions, which is freaking out. Another emotion is greed, as when you kill someone for money, or something like that. Another emotion is generosity, as when you pay someone double what he paid for his stupid puppet.
