This always fabulous British redhead is long overdue for some much deserved recognition, don't you think? But although she has a recurring role on ABC's Commander in Chief, the writers are toying with the idea of making her husband (played by Donald Sutherland) a widower!

I didn't know so many folks had never heard of her! She's been in some terrific films, like THE COLLECTOR (got an Academy Award nomination for that one, and won Best Actress at Cannes), WALK DON'T RUN (Cary Grant's last film; he personally requested Sam as his co-star); the children's classic DOCTOR DOLITTLE (with Rex Harrison), THE MOLLY MAGUIRES (co-starred with Sean Connery and Richard Harris), and during the 70's and 80's appeared as a guest star in just about every show on the air (most memorably in Star Trek TNG, Magnum PI, the Love Boat, and Fantasy Island, to name a few). She's a sexy redhead and an absolutely outstanding actress. Tragic that she is so under-appreciated.
