That is the title of a short Christmas story I wrote a couple of years ago ( 1900 words). I sent it off to My Weekly and a couple of other magazines for possible publication, but because people of all religions read weekly magazines, it got no further than the semifinals - it was sent in June, which is necessary for weeding out purposes. I'm not sure how to transfer it from my hard drive onto the forum, or whether 1980 words to too long for a Forum thread, but if anybody wants to read it, they're more than welcome. Synopsis: an anonymous card containing four front-row tickets to see an ice show starts a chain of events that will change the lives of one particular family forever. Be warned: it's designed to tug hard on the emotions. Anybody interested??

I'm sorry to be a pain, but you or somebody is going to have to help me out. I went into my Santa story and pressed send, but all I got was a fax facility. After more groping around, I got it set out as a web, asking me did I want to open up a web by that name. The only alternative is to type it directly onto the poetry & writing forum. As you can see, I can use a computer ok, but I'm not quite as I T literate as some people. If the worst comes to the worst, 1980 words isn't too long, but there must be an easier system. Fred.
